New Friends of The Barn

The Barn features some of our new friends
and their unique stories...

"I'm supposed to be working..."

Melinda took a break from her job and stepped into The Barn
for the first time in January
and immediately fell in love!

She shopped for a while,
misplaced her purse,
found it,
purchased a few items
and then left....
only to return about 4 hours later for round two!

She's really into the
"Vintage French Look"  and has returned to The Barn several times since her first visit.
         Melinda tries on Boutique-Style
           clothing found in The Barn

I'm sure we'll be seeing Melinda at The Barn in the future
and we're so happy to call her our new friend!

Antiques appeal to all ages...

On Sunday, February 21st,
eleven-year old Ben Veltri of Castle Pines North
finally convinced his mom to bring him back to shop at The Barn.

Ben is a young collector of antiques
who loves to collect bottlecaps and wants to be an inventor.
He used his own money to purchase a journal
and a pewter miniature army soldier.

We embarassed him a bit during the "photo shoot"...
I managed to knock over (and de-head)
 a porcelain origami-style snowman ornament,
while his mom stood behind the counter dancing
with a green feather stuck on her head!

Poor guy...he just wanted to stop by and find some treasures at The Barn.
The rest was just an added bonus to make his day more eventful!
Fun (and antiques) can ALWAYS be found in The Barn!

We can't wait to see our newest and youngest friend of The Barn again!

       Ask and you shall receive...

Mr. Randy Jessee walked into
The Barn with the complaint of
 shoes that were too tight.
He said "I need one of those old shoe stretchers." and voila! ~
a shoe stretcher appeared!

Randy, we hope your shoes fit better now!

You never know what sort of treasures
you'll find at The Barn!
